All the Answers You Seek, In One Place
Have a question you’d like to ask? I’m committed to giving patients the best care and experience I can. There’s no such thing as a bad question when it comes to mental health. Check out the answers to the FAQs below, and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any additional questions.

What are your rates and payment options?
The rate for an individual session is $150 and the rate for a family session is $200. Mental health services are GST exempt in Canada so these are the total costs. Payment is accepted via cash, check, or e-transfer.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?
This is something we can discuss during your phone consultation. I do offer a certain number of sliding scale opportunities per quarter, however we will have to determine what will benefit both of our needs.

How long does each therapy session take?
Most therapists, myself included, work what's called a 50-minute hour. Each session lasts 50 minutes, which allows me 10 minutes between clients to update notes and clean up any art supplies.

What is your theoretical stance?

My therapeutic lens is trauma-informed and person-centered. I primarily utilize theory from existential and humanistic approaches and thoroughly believe in whole-person care, which regards the client within the realms of their psychological, emotional, social, behavioural, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.
The office is located on the second floor of Westbrook Complex. You will find the door to the stairwell between Belle Brow Salon and Studio YEG. Upon entry into my office (Unit #204) you will walk into the reception area. Please take off your shoes upon arrival and help yourself to water or soda while you wait. I will collect you from the waiting area and welcome you into the office when ready. During the first portion of the first appointment we will review and sign a couple forms, including a consent form, and an intake form. The remainder of the session will include information giving and an introduction to the space, as well as the beginnings of your healing journey and the development of wellness goals.
What should I expect in my first session?

Where do I park?
There is plenty of parking in front of the building, but it may take a minute to find a spot as the lot can be fairly busy. Please arrive in a suitable time to find a parking spot prior to the appointment.

Can I reach the office via public transit?
Yes! Bus 707 will drop you right in front of the building. You can access this bus via the Southgate (14 mins) or Century Park (12 mins) LRT stations. Alternatively, bus 702 will drop you a three minute walk away from the office. You can access this bus via the Southgate (17 mins) or South Campus (23 mins) LRT stations.

How do I book an appointment?
Initial appointments can be booked via email or phone consultation, or through the connect page. Once we have established the therapeutic relationship, next appointments will be booked at the end of session or via text or email.
